- Simply insert your Empire Club Card into the game and leave it there while you play - you’ll automatically earn Empire Points as you play!
How can I use my Empire Points?
- Empire Points may be redeemed for food, non-alcoholic beverages, select merchandise and services. Simply present your card to a Promotions Booth representative or cashier.
- You may also use your Empire Points for products in our Merchandise Program.
How may I be added to Empire City Casino’s mailing list?
- It’s as easy as joining the Empire Club! Visit any of our Promotions Booths to sign up.
What if my address has changed or I would like to be removed from the mailing list?

How do I redeem my vouchers?
- All vouchers may be redeemed at Redemption windows within 45 days of the date the voucher is printed. After 45 days, the voucher must be redeemed at either the Lottery Claim Center on the 2nd floor or at a New York Lottery Office:

- Yes, ATMs are located throughout Empire City - at the entrances, Promotion Booths and near the escalators.
Does Empire City Casino have an easy, no cost way to access cash without using a check or credit card?
- Empire City offers Open to Buy. Simply present your valid drivers license, social security number and a blank check (not a starter check) to the Redemption cashier. The system will then approve you for a dollar amount, for a rolling ten day period. Subsequent transactions may take place with your drivers license (no check needed).
What type of currency is accepted?
- Our slot machines accept U.S. dollars and vouchers.
Where can I cash a check?
- Guests may cash checks at any Redemption window on the first floor and at the Game Cash window on the second floor. Guest may also get credit card cash advances only at the Game Cash window located on the second floor. Empire City Casino also offers OTB (Open to Buy) at all Redemption windows.
When is there live harness racing?
- Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway is proud to continue to tradition of live harness racing. Post time is 7:10PM ET every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. To verify all racing information, simply visit the Racing section of our website.
What about simulcasting?
- We offer harness and thoroughbred simulcasting from tracks across the country. Afternoon simulcasting is available based on the NYRA schedule (usually Wednesday through Sunday) and generally begins around noon. Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs. When there isn’t afternoon simulcasting, evening simulcasting begins at 6:30PM. The weekly schedule is posted in the Racing section of our website. Schedules subject to change because of the many tracks involved, we do advise guests to check the posted schedules for complete and up-to-date information.
Where can I wager on the horse races?
- Wagers can be placed at any of the following locations:
- 4th floor of Grand Victorian Hall: parimutuel wagering and simulcasting
- 3rd floor of Grand Victorian Hall: parimutuel wagering and simulcasting
($2 admission for individual carrels)
- 2nd floor in the Empire Terrace Restaurant
- Trackside
Can I visit the stables?

What are the admission and parking costs?
- It’s free! There is no admission charge, and we offer free self-parking with shuttles. Valet parking is available at Central Avenue/ Clark Street entrance for a fee.
Does Empire City Casino have wheelchairs?
- Yes, we have wheelchairs. They are located at the Valet Parking parking area. Just ask one of our valet attendants and they will be able to assist you. Please have a driver’s license or government issued photo ID available.
